Select Start Setup Wizard in the Help menu of the Application Menu Bar (to see this bar,
Fullscreen mode must be deactivated).

Or click the Setup Wizard button at the bottom left corner of the Preferences window.
Setup Wizard Walk-through
Let's walk you through the S4 configuration using the Setup Wizard:
1. On the welcome screen, click Next to confirm you have connected TRAKTOR KON-
TROL S4 to your computer via USB.
2. The Wizard asks whether you want to use TRAKTOR with a MIDI controller. Select No
here as TRAKTOR is already pre-configured for use with the S4.
3. The Wizard asks whether you want to use an external DJ mixer in your setup. Select Yes
and confirm with Next. In case of TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO, this screen is skipped and
external mixing is auto-selected.
4. Select a basic setup for your Decks (how many Decks and what Deck Flavors to use). Se-
lect 2 Track Decks + 2 Remix Decks from the drop-down menu and confirm with Next.
5. The last screen of the Setup Wizard sums up your selection of options: four Decks (two
Track Decks and two Remix Decks); an external DJ mixer; your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4
controller; the keyboard layout (derived from the system settings).You can click Back to
change the settings made, Cancel to cancel the Setup Wizard completely, or Finish,
which confirms your selections.
