12.6 Browsing, Loading and Copying Quick Reference

ments.
Control element Function
BROWSE encoder Turn: scrolls through the Playlist.
SHIFT + turn: scrolls through the Favorites.
Push: loads/unloads selected item in the Preview Player. When an item is load-
ed into the Preview Player, turning BROWSE seeks through the loaded item.
(When Browse mode is not active, load the selected track by pressing LOAD on
the desired Deck; load the selected Sample by pressing the desired Sample
Play button.)
PREVIEW button Press & release: activates track preview play.
Browse mode
BROWSE encoder Usual functions (see above).
Jog wheels Scrolls through the Playlist.
Loop MOVE encoders Turn: scrolls through the Browser Tree.
Push: expands/collapses node in the Browser Tree.
Loop SIZE encoders Turn: scrolls through the Favorites.
Flashing control elements Press to load the selected item on to this location.
Copy mode
Flashing control elements While holding the BROWSE encoder depressed, press any flashing source and
then any flashing target to copy the corresponding track or Sample.
